LostClan's Story Chapter 2

Midnightstar's eyes were wet with sadness. She had never gotten to really get into Foxtail. She now loved him dearly and would avenge his defeat.

She padded back to camp, hearing the meowing of Crescentheart, a LostClan queen.

Crescentheart meowed "Foxtail died, didn't he.."

Midnightstar nodded "I loved him so much.."

Crescent understood. She was the only queen who really got Midnightstar.

Midnightstar meowed "It's time for Ajarpaw, Wolfkit, and Erectpaw to be warriors and apprentices."

She padded onto the High Rock, yowling "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here for a Clan meeting!"

Ajarpaw, Wolfkit, and Erectpaw all sat down in a straight line.

Midnightstar called the three up, they proudly walked up, except Wolfkit, who was very scared.

Midnightstar said the ancient StarClan words to the three, and the three promised.

She meowed "Erectpaw, you shall be known as Erectclaw. May StarClan honor your courage."

Erectclaw went to stand beside the other warriors.

Midnightstar continued "Wolfkit, you shall now be known as Wolfpaw. May StarClan honor your loyalty."

Wolfpaw went to join Scarletpaw, Dreampaw, and Cloudpaw in the little group of apprentices.

Midnightstar finished "And Ajarpaw. You shall now be known as Ajarsong. May StarClan honor your bravery."

Ajarsong went and sat by Erectclaw. She had a secret love for him.

Midnightstar meowed "LakeClan has been acting very suspicious lately. I want to send out two patrols and patrol the LakeClan border."

All the cats started murmuring.

When the murmuring died down, Midnight continued "Goldenmask, you will lead the first patrol. You will take Alluringsong, Kestrelheart, and Dreampaw."

Goldenmask nodded, leading the three cats towards the entrance.

Midnight finished "And the second patrol will be lead by Dapplesky. She will take Ghostclaw, Hurricanepaw, and Gingerstrike.

Dapplesky nodded, doing what she was told.

Midnightstar sighed "I hope LakeClan will leave us alone... or... "He" will die..."
